All it took was several lawsuits to get their attention. So if you have a 2015 or later Ford Edge with a 2.0 Eco bost you can get your money back. A cracked flex plate is much more likely than bottom end 4.0 L engine issues. I would be sure to have more than one shop diagnose the symptoms.

A circular disk sandwiched between the engine and transmission. The two have to be separated to replace, which is a BIG job.
